This is the first time I create a blog, therefore choosing the suitable dashboard was my first step. In deciding which dashboard I will use to create my blog I had some considerations such as easy to use and free. Plus, I looked for a dashboard that has no limitation to importing and uploading videos, images, hyperlinks to my posts. In addition, I considered privacy statement, no advertisement, and terms service. As a result, I chose wix.com to be by platform for blogging and sharing my posts. Wix supports blogging and allows you to invite people. Also, it allows people who are interested in the blog to subscribe and get the latest update. As an author of the blog, you can delete users that comment or post hate speech, bullying and inappropriate context. It also allows participants to leave comments, but they have to sign up with Wix. Wix allow posts to be tagged and time zoned. Other reason for choosing Wix, is the short quick and to the point video tutorials available for each section. For example, if you don’t know how to upload a video to Wix, no need to google it or look for it on YouTube. Once you move your mouse to the word video you get tutorial on how to upload videos. Wix has no limitation on the number of posts or participant. Furthermore, the Wix service is not blocked by the UAE government which is a huge advantage.

I have created this video on a previous course in my master’s degrees which reflect why WhatsApp is a great social media tool to be used in a learning environment and its benefits.

This video demonstrates what first-year students should expect from their journey in the architectural world and how architecture is not only about designing it's about creating stories, music, and inspiration. This video will help people or learners who don’t have a background in architecture to have a better understanding of its concept. The learners who are studying architecture will find this video interesting and engaging. Plus, the ones who have experience in architecture will see this video as a true story.

This video is by Liz Ogbu from TEDx talk that really inspired me. As an architect-engineer doing master’s degree in instructional technology, I always get asked; why you shifted your career. Honestly, after watching this video, I couldn't have said it any better. So, if you want to know why I shifted my career and what I am hoping my architecture background will reflect and add to my education career. Watch the video!
